When I used to be a kid...

I'm gonna echo Lara's post about our kiddies and share some photos as well. We have the cutest group of students in our beginners class. During the students' break from school, a few manage to stay consistent in attending Isara's after school program that we teach. Although we've covered fundamental subjects and the students struggle with retaining this information, they always amaze us when they have their breakthrough moments (you know, when that light bulb finally illuminates!) It's a great feeling to know that these students are actually learning from us!

Here are a few photos of the kids outside of the classroom, doing what kids normally do: be cute, run, scream, talk in scattered tongue and play with each other

One of our newer students, Max (who is half British and Thai. His father owns the bar that Lara and I went to a week ago)

The gang on the swings: Toto, Feem, Jenny and Taptim.

Jenny welcoming people into the Isara house. She might just be on the cover of their next info brochure.

The helmets the kids are required to wear when attending these after school English classes to ensure safety on the roads.

Max, Ta-wan and Team: The bright students in our class... who seem to learn everything so quickly!

Ah, when life was simpler...
